All Cochise County resident adults are welcome at the Douglas Public Library and are eligible to apply for a free library card. Just come to the library, fill out an application, and show us your current photo ID with your current, permanent address and proof of residence (such as a utility bill, bank statement, voter registration, insurance card, or lease) that matches your photo ID. That's it! 

Those under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to apply for a library card. Parents/guardians must provide current photo ID and proof of current residence, accept responsibility for the minor's use of the card, and grant permission for use of library computers.
