Alma Andrade has been in public service for over 15 years in local government, and additionally worked in a Diplomatic Consulate Office in Douglas for five years.
This has afforded her knowledge and experience of the administrative functions of city government due to the diversity of these experiences. As a Deputy City Clerk, she assisted the City Clerk with council meetings, access to the city’s historical records, follows an established records management program, and assisted with local elections.
She has an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Cochise College. She is also a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) and is currently pursuing her Masters – the highest designation you can receive as a Municipal Clerk (MMC), Certified Elections Officer, and Notary Public.
Alma is a member of the Arizona Municipal Clerks Association (AMCA) and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC)
