The Douglas Public Library offers free 1-on-1 computer training and help sessions by appointment on the following topics:
  • A specialized topic of your choice (see Computer Tutoring 1-on-1 Request (PDF))
  • Fill out an online application
  • Search for a job or write a resume
  • Search the Internet to find information online
  • Search the library catalog, order or renew materials, check your library account, and more
  • Send attachments, or save files with USB, Google Docs, Drop Box and more
  • Set up a Facebook, email or other account
  • Set up and use mobile devices (tablets, smartphones, etc.)
  • Use a computer (keyboard, mouse, basic navigation)
  • Use library databases, download eBooks, stream music and movies
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint
