Technical Team Meets to Plan POE Infrastructure Next Steps

Phoenix, Arizona 07/15/19

The technical team for the port of entry projects met to discuss the planning and potential funding opportunities to add supporting infrastructure, utilities, water, and broadband to the new commercial port of entry. The new port will have enclosed docks for inspection, include Unified Cargo Processing in the design and all construction will be done so that future expansions can be done with ease and cost-effectively. It is also being designed to include a single facility to be shared by federal and state truck safety enforcement agencies.
