Public Notice - Cochise Connection Fee/Schedule Change Public Hearing (9/12)

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Douglas in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 425 10th Street, Douglas, Arizona on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at 5:35 p.m. for the purpose of changing the schedule to the City of Douglas Cochise Connection route eliminating the Huachuca City stop, and two Benson stops. The new schedule will make stops in Douglas, Bisbee, Palominas, Nicksville and Sierra Vista. New fees will also be proposed to include the new stops in Palominas, Nicksville and Sierra Vista. At the hearing, the City of Douglas will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit oral or written evidence and recommendations with respect to said project. A copy of the schedule change and fees is currently available for public inspection at the Transit Office located at 345 E. 16th Street in the City of Douglas or on our website under the public notices section at www.douglasaz.gov. Changes to the schedule shall go in effect October 4, 2018. 

PERSONS NEEDING SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS TO ATTEND THIS MEETING SHOULD CONTACT HUMBERTO RIVERA, TRANSIT MANAGER AT (520)417-7402 AT LEAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS BEFORE THE MEETING. TRANSLATORS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSONS AT THE HEARING IF REQUESTED.
